Housing Market Update October 2012

 

The above graph shows the relationship of the average sales price versus the average list price of the properties in Laguna Beach. It compares the cumulative year-to-date numbers up to the month of October from 2009 to 2012. The graph depicts a 63% difference between the average list price and final sales price so far in 2012. The graph also shows a 6% increase in the sales price from 2011 to 2012 in the month of October.

The above graph shows the relationship of the number of active listings versus the number of actual sold properties in Laguna Beach. It compares the cumulative year-to-date numbers in the month of October from 2008 to 2012. The number of active properties on the market has dropped 50% from October 2009 to 2012 in Laguna Beach. The number of sold properties by the month of October has increased by 45% from 2009 to 2012.
