Laguna Beach Real Estate Market Update

 

The above graph shows the relationship of the average sales price versus the average list price of the properties in Laguna Beach. It compares the cumulative year-to-date numbers up to the month of August from 2008 to 2011. The graph depicts a 55% difference between the average list price and final sales price so far in 2011. It also shows a decrease in the average sales price from the highpoint in July of 2008 to July of 2011 of 24%.

The above graph shows the relationship of the number of active listings versus the number of actual sold properties in Laguna Beach. It compares the cumulative year-to-date numbers in the month of August from 2007 to 2011. Compared to the figures from 2008, the number of home sales has almost doubled, but the number of active listings still remains fairly high.
